We had an absolutely amazing stay! It truly exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the place felt warm, clean, and beautifully maintained. The cottage itself had a spacious and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable bedrooms and plenty of room for relaxing. Doug was an outstanding host! He was friendly and provided useful insight on surrounding accommodations and activities. This was our very first visit to Jekyll Island and we enjoyed every moment. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jekyll Island.

Beautiful home! We as a family truly enjoyed everything. The beach was amazing, however, careful of the tide times. During times of higher tide we could not use the beach access but were able to go just down the road to the public access. Over all we would really like to go back! Biking was fun, ocean fishing was an experience the kids enjoyed but the beach and all the sand dollars were the best!

This property was beautifully maintained throughout with decor and furniture inside and out. It was very clean throughout, very nice good quality linens and towels. It was welcoming and accommodated my whole family perfectly! Doug also was very accommodating with an extra request I had but unfortunately, the extra guests were not able to make it but I greatly appreciated the accommodations that Doug was willing to make. The kids and adults enjoyed the property and loved the outdoor pool and both the enclosed sitting areas as well as the selective of card/board games. Our family are huge Skip-Bo fans and had forgotten to bring ours from home. Lo and behold, although this is not such a common card game, it was there, like it was meant to be! Also, there were a couple of water bottles and a personalized written note left to welcome me. Those small details say a lot and just felt like home! Such a lovely well kept home! Thank you so much, Doug!

We stumbled upon Jeckyll Island as a last minute spring break getaway. Knowing little about the island, we depended on the reviews. This house was better than the reviews and better than the pictures. Beautiful, incredibly clean, perfect ocean sunrise view, great location, stunning outdoor space, well stocked and response time of owner was immediate. We experienced a brief power outage while here and house had a charged lantern and flashlights, with the owner going the extra mile and finding locations with power where we could eat. Truthfully, one of the nicest air b and b we have stayed in.

This property is truly exceptional. The house itself is stunning and thoughtfully designed, set in a beautiful part of the island that feels both peaceful and tranquil while still being close to everything. It is the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. The concierge service was outstanding. Doug and his team were responsive, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay seamless and memorable. I have stayed at this property twice now, and without question, it is the best place I have ever stayed. I would not hesitate to return again. And...who does not love an elevator!

A Little Gem was just that - an absolute gem! The home was perfect in every way! The location is amazing - a great central spot for us to bike everywhere and walk many places as well. And then the home was so comfortable and luxurious for our family. The decor was modern and soothing and the house was so clean! The kitchen was well-stocked - we had all of the tools we needed to cook dinners for a week! We loved the elevator and used it nightly to bring our food upstairs to the beautiful dining area. Even with a few colder days were were able to enjoy the beautiful views from all of the upstairs rooms. Doug was very attentive - offered great recommendations in advance and helped with any questions we had. We would absolutely love to return to A Little Gem!

Our adult children met us at Jekyll Island for our Christmas family holiday. The Island is a great family sentimental favorite as we have visited frequently since our kids were first born. Doug’s home is the ultimate in Island luxury at an affordable price. Exquisite in construction and design, supremely comfortable in a fabulously decorated style. The kitchen spacious for our family of 6 adults who enjoy cooking family dinners together. The ocean views are superb from two comfortably furnished spacious balconies, one is equipped with a fantastic grill. Having a personal elevator was a luxurious experience and quite handy for using the provided cart for ocean views dining. This is the most fabulous of places we have ever stayed. And as frequent visitors, this is Jekyll’s finest. Doug is an incredibly attentive host with his gracious and generous hospitality. We highly recommend a Little Gem to all and hope to return ourselves on future family visits.

The place was newly renovated very clean home worth the price for sure had a really nice swimming pool the host was definitely responsive and attentive to anything we asked and even let us extend our reservation when we had to stay longer definitely recommend this place. Neighborhood was quiet fenced in yard privacy fence around the pool nice patio screened in beds where nice and comfortable and they have you pull all the bed linens so they can wash them I like that about a place I feel the ones that tell you to leave them only wash them if they think there dirty but just my opinion but the place was really nice and definitely clean and up to date

We loved staying here! It’s a beautifully decorated house that doesn’t feel like your standard Airbnb—it feels like an inviting, posh, luxurious home that is yours for the weekend. It is also incredibly clean and well-taken care of. Highly recommend. :)

The cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed. The decor was spot on. Great location to bike and explore Jekyll. Extremely close to the community pool and the beach. Great for families!
